AP2 TWO PIECE WHEELS
The 1221 AP2 configuration is all about flexibility. The AP2 combines monoblock aesthetics with true 3-piece modularity. The AP2 is a monoblock outer face bolted to a 3-piece wheel’s inner barrel. This combination allows for the deepest possible concavity for each application, greater application compatibility, and the ability to offer wheels of any width. Each AP2 set includes your choice of fully exposed hardware, completely hidden hardware or our 20|20 hardware option as well. The AP2 configuration is available in the Apex2.0 edition, is constructed from 6061-T6 forged aluminum.

WHEEL HARDWARE OPTIONS
All of our hardware options (if applicable) are available at no charge on all of our modular wheels, with only a few exceptions for styles with non- compatible spoke layouts. Modular wheels are constructed using 40 fasteners, so the 20|20 option is built with half of the assembly bolts reverse mounted and half as “through bolts” showing 20 exposed bolts on the face of the wheel. 20|20 construction is perfect if you want to showcase the modular construction of a wheel but want a sleeker aesthetic. The blind option uses reverse mounted assembly hardware which is not visible when the wheel is mounted. When used with our AP2 configuration, this option creates a monoblock aesthetic without sacrificing any fitment or concave profile flexibility. Using blind hardware results in a modern, clean look. The exposed option makes all 40 assembly bolts visible, perfect for clients that want a classic look or a way to add a color contrast on their wheel. Chrome bolts are standard but can be finished in a custom color to easily add contrast or match your lip, center, inner, brake caliper or car color.

UPGRADE TO TITANIUM
Titanium is a true performance metal. Boasting lightweight properties with high levels of strength, titanium offers substantial real-world benefits in almost every application. This metal has the highest strength to weight ratio of almost any other metal, making it perfect for a variety of automotive uses, including modular wheels. Titanium is also able to withstand high levels of heat without losing any of its strength. All of these factors make it an ideal upgrade. As such, 1221 offers a titanium assembly hardware option on all 1221 wheels. Titanium fasteners feature our laser etched 1221 logo and shave 41% of the weight versus a standard fastener.
